Founded in Mobile, AL by USCG OUTV Captain Ricky Edge in 1998, he established All American Marine to guide and assist individuals like himself to achieve a rewarding career in the maritime industry. Captain Edge began his career in the marine industry in 1975 as a deckhand under the guidance of his father USCG OUTV Captain Joe Edge.

He quickly attained the sea time, skills and documentation required for the top captains license in his field. Upon his death May 25, 2005, he had over 28 years in the marine industry and was one of the most sought after Captains in this area.
